THE NEWSGHOST, NIGERIA – According to report, on Saturday, September 9, 2017, Senator Shehu Sani representing Kaduna Central warned President Muhammadu Buhari to be careful of those who publicly declare their support for him to seek re-election ahead of the 2019 presidential election.
Sani who shared a photo of the president in a Facebook post on Saturday morning said:
‘The Disloyal cobra who spat venom before you and the friendly viper who sprayed venom behind you are all snakes. In comparison, the former is of lesser evil than the later.’
Obviously, the cobra that Senator Sani referred to in his post is Aisha Jummai Alhassan, the Minister of Women Affairs, who had publicly declared her support for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar ahead of 2019 election.
Alhassan, also known as Mama Taraba, justified her action by stressing the fact that, prior to 2015 election, Buhari had indicated that he had intention of ruling for only one term.
