Coronavirus: Wu-Tang Clan makes an acrostic from its name to stop spread of virus

THE NEWSGHOST, NIGERIA – Renowned American hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan is taking action to stop the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) using its name as an acrostic, a recent report says.

This message was relayed on behalf of the group on a podcast where the host explained that, ‘The hip-hop group wants to help stop the spread of coronavirus. And they’ve offered their name as an acrostic. W, wash your hands. U, use masks properly. T, touch nothing. A, avoid large crowds. N, never touch your face with unclean hands. And G, go to the hospital if you have symptoms. Remember, the coronavirus and the Wu-Tang Clan ain’t nothing to mess with.’

The podcast has an excerpt from the Wu Tang Clan’s song ‘Protect Ya Neck’ playing in the background.

The hip-hop group has also embarked on distribution of print materials covered with coronavirus health advice, according to another report.

The print materials read:

‘Protect ya neck against the coronavirus’

And it continues with the acrostic.
