The President of the Senate and proponent of #MadeinNigeria hashtag, Bukola Saraki has announced the kick-start of the soft launch of the ‘Made in Nigeria Challenge.’
The campaign is organised to showcase everyday products that are used by Nigerians and produced by Nigerians locally. The campaign hopes to identify products and ideas that can be matched with investors and government agencies.
Saraki said at the end of the challenge which will wrap up in March, some of the finalist will be invited to a Made in Nigeria round-table at the Senate. The round-table will allow the members of the upper legislative arm, government agencies, business owners, and everyday Nigerian consumers to review and update the report of NASSBER, the National Assembly Business Environment Rountable, which was held in 2016 to improve the ease of doing business in the country.
Participants are to use the hashtag #MadeInNigeria.
