Nigerian Law School: 1,272 failed final bar exam

THE NEWSGHOST, NIGERIA – The Director General of Nigerian Law School (NLS), Mr. Olanrewaju Onadeko (SAN), has disclosed the performance of the participants of the final bar exam conducted this year in August, report says.

He disclosed this in a statement released to journalist in Abuja on Saturday, October 21, 2017.

According to the statement, 5,891 students sat for the final bar exam, and only 29 students were graded first class, while 1,272 students, representing 21.6 percent, failed the exam.

The statement is contained in the executive summary of the results released by Council of Legal Education, the parent institution which runs the Nigerian Law School.
