Prambe: Atiku’s return to PDP will boost the party

THE NEWSGHOST, NIGERIA – Following his exit from the All Progressives Congress (APC) party, latest report reveals that Nigeria’s former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, has been having series of meetings with leaders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the northeast region of the country which consists of six states.

He has met the executives of PDP at all levels in Adamawa.

On Friday, November 24, 2017, the former vice president dropped his membership of the All Progressives Congress party (APC).

Speaking with journalists, Abdullahi Prambe, state secretary of PDP in Adamawa, said the meetings have been fruitful. He says he is optimistic that Atiku will return to PDP and described Atiku’s return as a boost to the party.

Prambe said:

‘Our meeting with him has been fruitful and from his body language he will soon return to PDP.

With Atiku, the party will carry more weight and more people will also troop in.’
