Tom Ford is releasing second movie


Tom Ford’s new hobby in film making is turning a good business.

Ford is releasing his second movie titled Nocturnal Animals, according to report.

In March 2005, the fashion designer announced the launch of his film production company Fade to Black.

Ford played the role of writer, producer and director in the making of the 2009 film A single Man.

He is also the screenwriter, producer and director of his new movie Nocturnal Animals.

Ford’s movie Nocturnal Animals had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 2, 2016. It also screened at the Toronto Film Festival on September 9, 2016, and BFI London Film Festival on October 14, 2016. It is scheduled for release in United States on November 18, 2016.

Nocturnal Animals is an adaption of American writer Austin Wright’s 1993 novel Tony and Susan. The movie stars Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Shannon, Armie Hammer and others.

At the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, on May 17, 2015, Focus Features acquired the US distribution rights for the film at a value of $20 million. This was the biggest deal of the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and the biggest in the last few years.

When asked if he would continue with his fashion career in an interview with journalists, Ford said:

‘I do not need to carry on. It finances my films at this point.’
